The Extension Support from the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development crystallises our resolve in upholding food safety and adding quality pork into the food security equation of South Africa. Our continuous training in production serves to enhance our quality control techniques. Veterinary support is on-call and inspections are carried out on a regular basis.
Chikaina Piggeries is home to brand new three pig houses; boar and sows, growers and finisher houses. On-farm breeding is our differentiator. We sell our piglets at 30-35kg as required by our discerning markets.
